Meet the Connect
I am Dr. Terrence A. Jordan II, founder of The Connect Agency and licensed psychologist. The Connect Agency was created after deep reflection of my path toward valued and purposeful living. I have assisted countless people in examining the pieces of their lives and connecting each in a meaningful way to ultimately build their own path towards fulfillment and healing. I am a firm believer that connection heals pain of all size and is the key to truly knowing and celebrating one’s self.
As a psychologist, I have facilitated engagement in life-long self-reflection through authentic partnerships within a variety of settings including government agencies, private practice, community mental health, medical settings, and higher education. In each setting, I actively sought to connect with marginalized populations. I know my career has not been traditional and was influenced significantly by connecting to resources. Subsequently, I am always aware of forging authentic relationships with underserved populations. These experiences continue to increase my cultural awareness and ignite my desire to remain connected to various backgrounds.
Many clients have noted my approach to be impactful and describe me as calm, humble, warm, easygoing, and real. I use psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and multicultural perspectives to guide acknowledgement of life events that influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that keep clients from a fulfilled life. My goal is to help you increase your sense of power in your life, strengthen your relationships with others, and more importantly, yourself.
Therapy is a space to gain strength, as well as insight and acquire the tools needed to become the best version of you. Are you ready to connect?
